I'm waiting for a phone call.
And I jump every time my phone rings with its distinct "outside call" ring.
I got an e-mail last week and this person said he would call me sometime this week, to set something up for next week.
He hasn't called yet.
I hesitate to elaborate because I'm such a superstitious person. I don't want to jinx myself.

Unfortunately...or maybe fortunately, I don't know...this isn't a potential boyfriend. It's professionally related.
But yes, I'm starting to believe that the guys in Ithaca are really stupid.
You appear to think every guy is stupid, might hinder you with the ones who aren't.
